NEW WERRINGTON WELLBEING PROGRAMME
LETS YOU MANAGE YOUR HEALTH DAILY ONLINE!
Always in the forefront of health and lifestyle issues the Werrington Community Library and Wellbeing Centre will be one of the first venues to be hosting a free workshop to help people manage their health from a smartphone, tablet or computer on Tuesday 20th February from 2pm to 4pm.
The new system which will be trialled in the village uses a Health App which is a software program that’s designed to perform a specific function directly for the user to monitor the user’s healthcare. The workshop will provide training and support for those taking part and will include a Digital Clinic designed to cover individual user needs and to provide training and support to access trusted websites, apps and free on-line resources relating to specific health conditions. Organised by Strategic Health in partnership with the NHS this new and innovative programme is designed to give people more control over their healthcare.
Those taking part can take their own tablet or iPad if they wish. To book a place contact Charlotte Bennett, Strategic Health Liaison Officer. Telephone – 01782 683030 Mobile – 07876 834733 or e-mail – [email protected]
