WERRINGTON LIBRARY & WELLBEING CENTRE

First of its kind in the UK

A unique project which, not only saved the service from closure but, with its combination of amenities is the first of its kind in the UK and is now being emulated in other parts of the country, a true pathfinder project for the village. As well as maintaining all library services the group have launched a Wellbeing Centre for our older residents, where we have nearly twice the national average, have preserved the Mother & Baby Unit and will be offering general events for all ages. Having nearly lost the facility it is now more popular than ever thanks to our volunteers catering for over 500 visitors each week.
